Opportunities of highly automated trucks within yard logistics

Wolfgang Inninger has been a researcher at the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics since 2003. Subsequently, he became the head of the project center Traffic, Mobility and Environment in Prien am Chiemsee, in the year of 2008.
Within his scientific work, he lays his focus on the application potentials of innovative technologies within the field of transportation services. Especially, traffic- and information-logistics are core topics of his work. Currently, he is dedicated to themes such as digitalization as well as automation concerning the traffic systems.
Prior to his work at Fraunhofer, Mr. Inninger had studied industrial engineering at the University of Applied Science Rosenheim and worked at the Deutsche Telekom in the field of telecommunication technology.
