13:30-15:00 h | Hall B2 Forum II
Subjects: digitalization | artificial intelligence | new business models / organisational development | technologies
Type: Conference

With progressive digitisation and the increasing availability of information, technologies are needed that can efficiently evaluate and interpret this data. These processes are now being developed in the sphere of artificial intelligence. Throughout the world, their use is coupled with great expectations. In transport logistics too there are interesting fields of application for the processes. Just some of the applications we should mention include predictive analytics models and hazard recognition or driver assistance systems.
As part of the event, a keynote speech (by IML – the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics) and three expert contributions from industry and commerce shed light on possible areas of application and case studies. Finally, a panel debate will cover the opportunities and risks presented by artificial intelligence in the sphere of transport logistics. The participants are the speakers mentioned above, plus presenter.
