The preparations for transport logistic Online are well underway. Free tickets have been available for a few days on the website www.transportlogistic.de/en. Participants can expect 88 conference sessions with high-profile speakers and global players from the industry. 35 partners, clubs, associations and publishers make up the online program. 30 top companies will present themselves in individual company sessions. A total of 40 companies are open to networking. The digital symposium for logistics, mobility, IT and supply chain management will take place from May 4 to 6, 2021. No other format presently offers such a comprehensive overview of the current topics and challenges of the industry.
Stefan Rummel, Managing Director of Messe München, considers the online format a unique offering for the industry to gain information and network: “Especially now, in times of Corona, there is great need for knowledge transfer and specialist exchange in order to overcome the current challenges. We offer a full three-day program including trends, innovations and inspiration, presented by the most important players in the industry. The format is unique in its variety and selection of topics. And it is available for free to everyone who’s interested. The strong interest we have received from the companies and partners so far is a sign of the trust the industry places in us and our digital concept.”
Andreas Scheuer, Federal Minister of Transport and Digital Infrastructure, will open the digital symposium on May 4. Scheuer: “I am pleased that Messe München is offering the world's leading trade fair transport logistic digitally this year. This way, the industry can exchange ideas even in times of Corona. For the logistics industry, innovative approaches and fully digital supply chain management are crucial for competition. This includes, for example, the digital processing of contracts. As logistics world champions, we also want to be leaders in the digital supply chain. Because this is the only way we can make the leap into a future that has practically already begun.”
The key topics of the conference program focus on the current questions facing the industry, in which new business models such as modern platform economies play a leading role. As with the digital transformation, the logistics industry is also affected by the megatrend of sustainability: Alternative drive systems and the optimization of the supply chain will be addressed in various sessions. The coronavirus pandemic and its impact on the logistics industry are also indispensable items on the agenda of the transport logistic Online conference. One highlight on the agenda is the air cargo Europe conference.
The conference program, in which all important clubs, associations and publishers are involved, will take place across several parallel streams. Participants can select specific presentations or switch back and forth between topics and content on the spur of the moment. You can find an overview of the conference program on the website. This also offers a continuously updated database with detailed information on the individual presentations.
All those who wish to exchange with top companies and follow their presentations can do so in the one-hour company sessions.
